Beating A Dead Horse?

Ever feel like you are beating a dead horse only to find out that you are beating a dead horse? I’m sure that’s how the prophets felt when seemingly no one listened to them. Judgment came and those who were meant for the sword went to the sword, those meant for famine died starving, those destined for pestilence perished in torment. Time and again Israel suffered because of sin and iniquities; putting their own lusts ahead of God and truth; not heeding the warnings of those who heard the Spirit of God.

What is so difficult to understand? God is God! God is not wicked or harsh. Quite the contrary; God is love, His yoke is easy and His burden is light.  Mercy and grace came by a physical proof, the image and likeness of  man; Jesus the Son of God. God so loved the world (people) that He not only sent His only begotten Son but He gives us a part of Himself; the Holy Spirit: if we believe. The difficulty comes by the wisdom of man; the “doctrine of man”; what people believe. Just as the Old Testament Israelites didn’t believe the prophets so those on the doctrinal fault line of unbelief don’t believe the “Gift of God” and the dividing line of truth. Many are about to fall because they don’t believe “all truth” by the “Spirit of Truth” that can deliver.

The Holy Spirit; the “Voice” of one crying in the wilderness is saying, “Prepare the way of the Lord”. The wilderness is those caught in the wasteland of lies, error and unbelief. The “Stream in the Desert”or the “The River of Life” is the Holy Spirit that offers life and deliverance to those who by faith receive Him; the Spirit of Truth. You prepare by believing and doing God’s will; by believing every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

Many talk about God; the Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible and Truth without actually knowing God or what is true. There are schools, seminaries, theological centers that teach people who have a zeal for God but not according to truth to be just like their fathers; they teach the same errors that bind them to their particular school of thought; that ensures  blindness. They are hypocrites and blind; they say one thing and deny the power of God by another. What is worse they lead the blind to teach the blind and all will fall into a ditch.

The Holy Spirit, Jesus and the Father had much to say about this very time, “Christians”, the “Church” and “Righteousness”. Many scriptures talk about these blind people but they cannot see themselves in these scriptures because, in fact, they are blind; blind to truth. God, not desiring that any should perish, stirs His servants to sound the alarm, but just as in the days of old, who will listen? Who can hear?

Many say and believe that they are “saved” because they “accepted Jesus” just as they were told that they must. The problem is that they stop right there not realizing that believing in Jesus only gives us the “power” to become sons and daughters. Many spend a lifetime learning scripture but never come the “Knowledge of Truth”; Jesus is Truth. Even though truth may be found in scripture it is living in “Truth”, walking in the Anointing; the Holy Spirit that makes a difference; the power of God is the Truth. Wise and foolish virgins both say Lord, Lord but only the wise virgins have the Anointing; the Holy Spirit in their earthen vessel/lamp.

Truth is not hidden except from those who are to proud to see it. Truth is not kept from anyone; in fact “who so ever will” may find it. But, the truth is that many believe a partial truth that keeps them from “all truth”; in fact, that particular brand of truth is a lie; it keeps them blind when if they only believed they could see. The “blind” read the same scripture as those who can see; the difference is that those who can see understand in truth (in fact) and the blind can only see to the limit of their light. Without the Anointing Oil of the Holy Spirit in their vessel (lamp), their light is darkness.

Take this scripture for example:

2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now lets will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The blind would think that verse 10 is speaking about wicked godless people only. The Anointed; those who have the Holy Spirit, can see it as the foolish virgins of Matthew 25 because they are deceived into thinking because they are waiting for the Bridegroom all will be well. The foolish virgins perish. The proud and the denomination-ally indoctrinated will deny or dispute what the Anointed have to say and usually condemn them (1 Peter 3:15-17); thus maintaining their own blindness and ensuring the continued blindness of those who follow them.

Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him. 7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man comes.

Consider and compare this scripture:

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness? 15And what concord has Christ with Belial? or what part has he that believes with an infidel? 16And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

To this scripture:

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. 5For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

First of all to a Spirit filled believer an “unbeliever” is anyone that denies what they know to be true. To yoke yourself to one who denies truth is to be unequally yoked. Second, if a denial of truth is sin or an iniquity, and it is, denying the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is for today is denying truth and is part of the problem no matter how well intended. (Luke 6:46… why call you me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?)  The command to come out is meant to set people free from the blindness of lack of truth or lead them to the knowledge of truth. God makes no difference between the wicked, the proud and the religious; He only says to come out from among them. Truth is that God’s people perish for lack of knowledge, they did in the Old Testament, they will they during tribulation. Truth is as Jesus said “a man’s foes would be they of his own household”.

We all know this scripture (wise and foolish virgins):

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

And in Spiritual progression; line upon line, this:

Titus 3:10 A man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition reject; 11Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sins, being condemned of himself.

If sound doctrine includes the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and those who deny and keep others from that truth are turned to fables. And, if they have heard the truth but refuse correction they are subverted and are to be rejected. Again, they are the spiritually blind that lead the blind. If the blind hear the truth they are responsible to the truth or they are “WILLFULLY IGNORANT” of truth. By denying “Truth” they actually deny Jesus because Jesus is Truth and He had to leave so He could send us the Spirit of Truth. God knows their works and that they have a name/reputation that they are alive but they are dead.

There are plenty of scriptures about, for and to the foolish virgins, unprofitable servants, the fearful, unbelieving and heretics:

1 Corinthians 14:38… if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. 39Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

Righteousness, as God judges, is believing Him. Those who don’t believe God are not Righteous. As to actually beating the dead horse; misplaced loyalty to man, denomination or church only has one end; let the dead bury the dead both will fall in the pit. To be God’s friend we must believe Him; faith pleases God.

Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Revelation 19:9 And he said unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said unto me, These are the true sayings of God. 10And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See you do it not: I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus (TRUTH) is the Spirit of Prophecy.

Revelation 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 8And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things. 9Then said he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10And he said unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Proverbs 28:26 He that trusts in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walks wisely, he shall be delivered.
