You will reap, if you faint not! and other encouraging truths about who God is!

During worship on sunday the Lord showed me a vision. I saw a marathon type race being ran. The Lord began to minister several understandings as he showed me more and more of the vision. I was encouraged, the Lord was saying the finish line is in sight. The season of trials, refinement is drawing to a close. I heard the Lord say, “you shall reap if you faint not”. The time is drawing near where God is no longer going to saying “wait on your ministry, but rather to be sent out to do His will. The direction from it was a sort of  “finish strong” type  one would get from a coach or something. Forget what happened yesterday, forget what trials the Lord has had to make a way of escape for you because of anxious etc. but be purged, refined, and prepared to do God’s will.

I was encouraged by the fact that we are being chastened and refined. There are many people who are being given over to their own lusts in these times, many calling themselves christians, or even “ministers” of God. Even though times seem tough, being “pressed through the strainer” if you will, but we must endure, and be anxious for nothing. God, and life in the spirit is our reward, those who are seeking the world are being given over to their already. We will reap, if we faint not.

Hebrews 12

1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

4Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

5And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

7If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?”

8But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

The Lord then said “Trust in me (the Living God), seek after me with all you have. I chasten and correct you, my people, that you may stand in the days to come. I am the refining fire, I have set the standard. Rise up and be strong, for I have made you vessels unto honor. Is my hand short? Though you’ve stumbled in the weakness of your flesh, have I let you fall? Believe, draw near.

The dark day comes, and many will fall. Men’s hearts will fail them for fear. Judgement (pestilence and sorrow) is the portion for those who have not called upon my name. But you my people have sought me early (while it was yet a green season). I am your portion. In me you have no lack, and there is peace and fullness of joy”

He was also saying to continue to sow in righteousness/holiness, and we will reap our reward to that end.

He also was giving specific direction, as he has been to many over the last few weeks;

“Commit your works unto me, and I will establish your thoughts, your path. I am the author and the finisher of your faith. I will light your path and guide your footsteps. Be humble, seek me day and night.

Who among you has taken every thought captive? Who rules over their vessel letting patience have her perfect work? Die to your flesh daily. Does your carnal mind cause you to stumble (to doubt and fear)? Rule over your thoughts, and die to vain imagination for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. A double minded man is unstable in all of his ways. The flesh is enmity against me. Cast all your cares before me, and carry the easy yoke, the easy burden. It is written that no man will serve two masters, for he will love one and hate the other. Choose this day who you will serve”

It’s really quite a simple thing, yet we make it very difficult. Cast all we have before him, and let him take control. How could one say that they are more than a conquerer, when they cant rule over their flesh? How can we be given to rule over much, to go out and minister if we can’t rule over the little things? The truth is you can’t. Plain and simple, the free are free indeed, so if your still in bondage to the flesh, then God’s word isn’t true in your life. Make your calling and election sure. Draw near.

  1. Amen Jeff.
God is preparing the servants of His house that are to be sent out. They must be blameless and able to walk in the integrity of their own Righteousness; pleasing God in Truth not just how they think carnally. They will be sent out by God; by the leading of and in the power of the Holy Spirit; they will do exploits. In the Fathers spiritual timeline we are just before Matthew 22:7But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Those who could have and should have come to the wedding feast; the true riches of the Spirit; the Anointing; being in Christ, refused to come. Most denominations have kept their people from coming to the feast; the union of God and man; the Baptism of the Holy Spirit; the Promise of the Father. They are blind to truth and they lead their people into continued blindness, eventually falling into the pit. They think because they say Jesus is Lord that they have fulfilled all that there is yet they deny Jesus by denying what He sent; what they are called to. Some who had the oil of Gladness; the Holy Spirit, because of iniquity allowed their oil; the love of the Truth to run out; another no show at the time when it is important.

Some know or suspect this to be true but because of respect of worldly considerations do nothing about coming to the feast. Some who are worthy to be tried turn back to their old ways not preferring the New Wine; being led by the Spirit. Few endure the fire of trials to come out as pure gold; a workman fit for the Lord’s work. Many who are lawful think that they are better people; Christians, because of their works but they aren’t coming to the feast; they aren’t doing God’s will.

  2. Owen (ESC) says:

    Amen Jeff…

Our flesh is weak. God is our strength. I almost can get myself sick by just thinking of how much I hate the old man. Today started and will end loving God. My trials of yesterday are forgiven. Today I stand stronger.

    Peace brother, O
