What the Spirit is saying!
I could simply write what the Holy Spirit is saying but most take anything a man has to say; even if he says that the Spirit is saying it, with a grain of salt; he spices or twist to his own taste; his own understanding. A line upon line, precept upon precept understanding is even discredited but we will be judged according to what is TRUTH, no matter what; the Holy Spirit bears witness to all Truth. No one will be able to say, “I didn’t know”. They choose not to know. Every member of the churches of Revelation 2&3, every denomination, every independent will still be judged according to actual Truth, not what they think or want to believe. Gods’ standard of acceptance is worship in Spirit and in Truth; a doer of His Word and every word that proceeds out of His mouth. To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (Romans 8:6).
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you
Romans 3:4… let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That you might be justified in your sayings, and might overcome when you are judged.
Matthew 13:11… it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.12…whosoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has.
Matthew 25:24… he which had received the one talent (born again) came and said, Lord, I knew you that you are an hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not sown: 25And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent (Spirit alive in Christ) in the earth (the world; carnally minded way of life): lo, there (the servant presents it) you have that (which) is yours. 26His lord answered and said unto him, You wicked and slothful servant, you knew (out of your own fears and doubts) that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not sown: 27You ought therefore to have put my money (Spirit) to the exchangers (those who live in the Spirit, you could have agreed with), and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 28Take therefore the talent (Spirit and all the gifts that the Holy Spirit brought) from him, and give it unto him which has ten talents. 29For unto every one that has shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that has not shall be taken away even that which he has. 30And cast you (God’s angel or servants) the unprofitable servant (the one who does not grow in the Spirit; not a doer of Gods’ word) into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Revelation 22:10…Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12… behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Luke 21:36 Watch you therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10But the day of the Lord (beginning of Tribulation; the end of the covenant of Grace and Truth) will come as a thief in the night (to the slothful servant); in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up (Rev 6:13-15). 11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be (a servant who has the Holy Spirit and has multiplied; more fruit, more gifts) in all holy conversation and godliness, 12Looking for (Having ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying) and hasting (preparing) unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat (Gods’ servants doing exploits)? 13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwell righteousness. 14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you (those who are profitable servants) look for such things, be diligent (get “all truth” by the Spirit of Truth) that you may be found of him in peace (in Gods’ Rest, the Promise of the Father), without spot, and blameless (living in the Spirit and not fulfilling the lusts of the flesh).
To you who it is given to know: The season of the trials of the Righteous comes to a close (it was as the time of plagues in Egypt before the exodus). What you have prospered in or have been multiplied in will now become apparent; you will no longer be hidden. Those who have but have been slothful in what they have been given, the Spirit will not strive with them as they have offended and rejected the Spirit of Truth and the gifts of the Spirit. Many will shoulder up; be level with, those who have been Anointed as leaders; ministers of Truth; the ones who have in Truth, by Gods’ measure. The hand of Gods’ restraint is being pulled back from those who have and those who have not. Those who have will get even more, Gods’ blessing and good pleasure will not be hidden. Those who have not will shrivel and become anemic; fearful, doubtful, uncovered from God’s Anointing; the seal of the Holy Spirit. If they are to have eternal life they will do it by their own strength and commitment. You, who are Spiritually minded; having the mind of Christ, already noticed the changing season. Now is the time to press in even more. Those who know their God are soon to be sent out. You will do exploits!
Psalm 58:10 The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. 11So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judges in the earth.
Exodus 9:16… in very deed for this cause have I raised you up, for to show in you my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.
1 Peter 2:9…you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; 10Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God…
Repent; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will fight against you with the sword of my mouth.

This season is coming to an end, this we know in the Spirit, God showing us the things to come that nothing come upon us unaware.
Even when we enter in to the Spirit and begin to pray, it seems that Holy Spirit is preparing us in a different way. As you said, we must press in. Now is the time when all that God has given us will be required of us. The scripture that says obedience is better than sacrifice is one we must remember in these times.
I pray that those who read and hear choose obedience and living by every word that comes from the mouth of God rather than giving their life (to live is Christ). Walking in the Spirit and being faithful to God has a much better reward than having our works burned up because we were confident in the flesh.
