Make the Most of What You’ve Got

I am a God of love and a God of mercy. My people I don’t want your works. I want your heart. I am not just a rule-giver. I am the lover of your soul, your creator, your father. Many draw near to Me with their lips, but their hearts, their love is far from Me. I desire to know you My child. I desire to be your all and all, your helper in time of need. Come to Me. Bring your broken heart before Me and I will make you whole. I will restore you and give you strength. Where is the joy of your salvation? Come to Me and I will refresh you and give you new understanding of who I am.

I call but who will hear? Who will come higher and seek Me in Spirit and truth.? The carnal mind is at enmity with Me. You cannot understand My mysteries in your flesh. You must be born again by My spirit to enter into the greater things. My child I have revealed this to you because I love you and I know how you have sought Me, and you have desired to know Me. Don’t let the opportunity pass you by. Draw close while I am near and be changed.

After I heard these words, I heard the Lord say, “There is so much more.”

Then I saw a vision:

The Lord showed me a treasure room filled with heaps and heaps of gold coins, precious stones and other valuable objects. As I saw this, the Lord reminded me of Dave’s vision from a couple of weeks ago about God placing a gold coin in front of people. The gold coin is where we are at. It is what God has given or is giving us to be responsible over at the moment, but if we are faithful to pick it up and make the most of what God gives us, then it is only the beginning of what God has in store for us.

Then the Lord said: All this yours My child if you will seek it, if you will enter into My chambers by faith. Don’t be satisfied with what you have. Desire more of Me. I delight in showing Myself strong to My people. I delight in those who seek My face.

1 Corinthians 2:9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

Matthew 25:14For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.22He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.23His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.29For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Overall, the Lord is encouraging us to make the most of what we’ve got. If you’ve got salvation, make the most of it and seek the Holy Spirit. If you’ve got the Holy Spirit, make the most of it and learn how to hear God’s voice. If you know how to hear God’s voice, then listen more so you will know God and be capable of ministering and doing His exploits. God has empowered all to become His sons and daughters, and when Jesus died on the cross, He set that gold coin in front of us all. That’s a fact; however what each of us chooses to do with our coin is not so certain. Will we turn our coins into the heaps of treasure seen in the vision, or will we choose to do nothing and neglect so great a gift? If we don’t care enough to buy everything we can with that gold coin, then we aren’t worthy of God’s fellowship anyways, let alone His greater treasures.

With love in Christ,

Tara

One Response to Make the Most of What You’ve Got

  1. Amen Tara.
God is so good, so loving, so merciful, so faithful that words cannot explain. He is love; agape. Our Father is rich toward us as a Father should be in a family business; wisely teaching us the truth of the ins and out of life; our limits and bounds. He knows our weaknesses and our strengths, He formed us. God knows how to heal or clean what sin and the world has done to man. He freely gives us what we need if we humble ourselves and ask. All He asks is faith; believing who He is and obedience; doing His will. If we cannot love God because of who He is we cannot have any part of Him. If we believe and love Him faithfully God will give us all that there is. It’s so pure and simple all it takes to blow it is to think that we are something.
